The Basic Machining/Manufacturing Blend course covers the basics of entry level machining. Students will learn safety in the machine shop, as well as the operations of the horizontal and vertical band saw, drill press, lathes, and the vertical milling machine. Students will also receive instruction in blueprint reading and precision measurement using micrometers and calipers.
Students must provide their own safety glasses.
