The Class A Commercial Truck Driver course prepares students to enter the commercial truck driving industry. Classroom, laboratory, and road driving are combined to cover safety, DOT rules and regulations, backing into various situations and metro driving, shifting techniques, pre-trip inspections, map reading, night driving, two and four lane driving, and cargo handling. All students must be physically able with or without accommodation to climb in and out of an OTR tractor (4' to 6') multiple times per day.  The program is complete once the driver acquires the Class A License with no restrictions.  **We add student information to the Federal Motor Carrier Registry as soon as the driver completes each one of the general categories.
